Favorites

Adding Favorites

Use the input box on the favorites cloud page to add your favorites. Just add your favorites after "I like..." and select the section you would like it to be in (interests, Movies, TV shows etc). You can click the "easy selector" text which will open another page where you can add multiple items at the same time.

Make sure you separate each item with commas. If your favorite item includes commas use quotes to define it: "The good, the bad, and the ugly". Do not use exclamation points, periods or words like "etc", "a lot", "is the best".

GoodU2, The Beatles
BadU2 and The Beatles
BadU2...The Beatles
GoodThe Rolling Stones
BadI like the Rolling Stones
BadThe Rolling stones are the best

The system will then automatically connect you with other users that have the same favorites.

Please feel free to add notes and comments to your favorites

Goals

Browsing goals

Click on Goals or Favorites on the top menu to see the Goals or Favorites "cloud". The cloud shows all of the popular goals and favorites. Popular goals and favorites are bigger and more bold.

Use the sub-menu above the cloud on the right-hand side to sort goals and favorites by date, popularity, and see new notes and comments by other users.

When you click on a goal, such as Go to Japan you will see the goal detail page where you can see more information about the goal, such as who is doing the goal, who has completed it, who started it. You will also see and comments and notes from other users.

Joining Goals

Join any goal by clicking on the I want to do this button. When you complete a goal click I have completed this goal or if you give up click the I give up! button. When you join a goal you should write a note telling other users about your progress towards your goal. You do not need to join a goal to leave a note or comment about it.

Adding Goals

Add your goal after where it says "I want to..." (above the goals cloud). Click the "click here for more entry options" text for easy entry options.

Keep the goal text simple -- if you make the goal too specific you will not be able to match with other people. Don't mix two goals together. Do not use exclamation points, periods or words like "etc".

GoodI want to go to Paris
BadI want to go to Paris and have fun
BadI want to go to Paris with Joe
BadI want to go to Paris tomorrow
BadI want to go to Paris and Rome
BadI want to go to Paris - I love it!
BadI want to go to Paris!
BadI want to go to Paris etc...

If your goal is similar to other goals you will be asked to choose the one most suitable for you. The system will then automatically connect you with other users that have the same goals!

Tags

Tags are keywords you can use to find and cross-reference items. For example, the movie "Titanic" can be linked to the celebrity "Leonardo Di Caprio" by inputting the actors name as a tag.

Tags should be separated by commas. For example the goal "Go to Japan" has the tags, "Japan, Travel".

Notes & comments

Be sure to add a note to your goal to tell other users about your progress towards your goal, or add a note to a favorite to tell other users why you like that favorite. You can add notes and comments to other people's goals even if you have not shared the goal or favorite.

Tip: To avoid getting spammed do not write your email, address or website address in any post. We will introduce an internal mail system in a few weeks that will allow you to safely contact other users for free.
